Tile & Trouble is a Discord bot that runs a word-tile game. This page explains what it stores and why.
When you use the bot, it stores the minimum needed to run a game:
That’s all. The bot does not read messages in your server (it has no message-content access), does not store message text, and does not collect email addresses, IP addresses, or anything from outside Discord.
Data is stored in a database on the hosting provider the bot runs on. Game state is kept while a game is active and after it finishes so the thread’s history makes sense. Practice games aren’t recorded on any leaderboard.
Leave a game with /resign. To have your user ID and results removed entirely, send a request with /feedback in Discord and it will be deleted from the database.
The bot is intended for users who meet Discord’s minimum age requirements and is not directed at children.
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. Continued use of the bot after a change means you accept the updated policy.
Use the /feedback command in Discord — it goes straight to the person who runs the bot. /about in Discord also shows any support links.
